Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of period trading performance information
• Monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Variance analysis of club trading accounts
• Month-end cost allocation journals
• Providing support to business units interpreting monthly trading accounts
• Ensuring accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations
• Continual review and improvement of management information produced
• Liaising with tax department for gaming-related taxes and VAT
• Annual and half-yearly audit preparation
• Driving improvement in general ledger processes
• Business partnering with operational teams to understand financial performance

Qualifications

• 2 - 3 years' extensive experience in management accounting, including delivering full management accounts
• Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.) or part qualified
• Proven track record of providing timely and accurate information and reports
• Good system knowledge (D365 an advantage)
• Strong focus on financial controls, with the ability to flag risks to management
• Methodical & structured, excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Prioritization to meet deadlines, and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with senior finance and operations
• Team player with the ability to work effectively within the operations support team
• Flexible working attitude, willing to accommodate the needs of the operation
