As an IT Disaster Recovery Analyst on the Technical Stability team, you’ll be the guardian of the company’s tech resilience. Partnering with the Technical Stability Manager, you’ll craft and execute cutting-edge recovery plans that align with business continuity strategies. By mastering the critical interdependencies, you'll ensure the company’s IT systems bounce back quickly from any disaster, keeping the business running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery (DR) plans, procedures, and policies.
  • Execute recovery procedures and understand their interdependencies to ensure seamless operations.
  • Identify areas of improvement in DR capabilities through regular assessments.
  • Conduct simulations and drills to validate recovery plans.
  • Proactively assess risks, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities to business operations.
  • Establish DR communication and control plans, ensuring clarity during incidents.
  • Collaborate with Technology Services and the wider business to ensure DR solutions are effective, maintained, and tested regularly.
  • Liaise with auditors for examination of DR processes and controls.
  • Close gaps in DR plans by identifying weaknesses and providing solutions.
  • Promote DR awareness, offering guidance, support, and training to operational and engineering teams.
  • Leverage knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365, DevOps, SharePoint, and ServiceNow to optimize DR strategies.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on IT experience across diverse areas, making you a versatile tech pro.
  • Deep knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), IT infrastructure, disaster recovery, networking, and storage architectures.
  • Proven ability to design, plan, and implement enterprise-wide continuity strategies that keep businesses running smoothly.
  • Armed with a bachelor's degree in IT, ready to tackle complex challenges with confidence and expertise.
