We're looking for a highly skilled Senior NOC Engineer to take ownership of critical incident management, drive operational excellence, and mentor our NOC team. If you love solving complex problems, improving processes, and being the go‑to technical expert, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Incident Management: Run Post‑Incident Reviews, drive root‑cause analysis, and ensure quick, accurate resolution of critical digital and retail incidents.
  • Elevate Operations: Own and improve NOC procedures, runbooks, monitoring standards, and escalation processes.
  • Technical Expertise: Monitor digital platforms, networks, and retail environments using tools like New Relic, Meraki, SolarWinds, and OpsGenie. Troubleshoot advanced network/application issues and support switch configurations and network segmentation.
  • Stakeholder Engagementr: Act as the key link between NOC, DevOps, Infrastructure, Security teams, and external partners, communicating updates clearly and professionally.
  • Shift Leadership Coverage: Support shift coverage (including on‑call), guide NOC engineers, and contribute to upskilling the team.
  • Knowledge Management: Create and maintain high-quality KB articles while sharing expertise through training sessions.

 

    Qualifications

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Required:
      • 3–5 years of experience in a NOC or IT operations environment.
      • Strong understanding of network principles (OSI model, IP addressing, routing, switching, firewalls).
      • Proven experience with monitoring tools and repositories (New Relic, Meraki, SolarWinds, Elastic Search, EKS, Github, Kubernets, Cloudflare).
      • Familiarity with ITIL framework and incident/problem/change management processes.
      • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
      • Ability to work independently and lead during high-pressure situations.

    Reporting Line

    • The Senior NOC will be reporting to the NOC Team Lead and involve the NOC manager as and when needed.
    • All process changes must go through an approval process with the NOC Team Lead.
