We are looking for a System Administrator with advanced knowledge of Linux environments to come join our growing team!

You must reside in the Barcelona area or be willing to relocate as we require you to be in our office at least 1 day a week with adhoc additional days.

Main Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of all websites for the international group at the infrastructure level
  • New site creation including new sites for new jurisdictions (countries)
  • Update and monitoring of new software versions and technologies
  • Install and administration of new infrastructures and existing infrastructures
  • Technical support/reporting during audits
  • Automated periodical reporting to the different gaming control entities (updating or augmenting the current automated tools)

Qualifications

  • Residing in the Barcelona area or willing to relocate
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux environments
  • Experience with virtualisation technologies, particularly VMWare ESX
  • Proficient in managing web servers such as NGINX and Apache
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring systems and tools
  • Skilled in database administration, specifically with MariaDB
  • Familiarity with version control systems including SVN and Git
  • Knowledge of essential Linux services such as iptables, NTP, VPN, and FTPS
  • Strong scripting abilities for automation and task optimisation
  • Capable of documenting technical processes clearly and effectively
  • Good understanding of written and spoken English
  • Proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple workloads under tight deadlines
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Professional, patient demeanour with a proactive, can-do attitude
