You will work closely with your manager and your local team to support and execute the overarching Talent Acquisition (TA) strategy for the business. As a trusted advisor and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to Hiring Managers (HM) and their wider teams, you will provide strategic TA consultancy services and manage all hires across varying levels. You will act as a transformation advocate, collaborating with the TA Director, Country Head of HR and the wider P&C teams to improve the end-to-end recruitment service, experience, and overall model for the business, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience.
Your responsibilities will include mapping markets for key areas of the business, building solid pipelines for priority areas, and working closely with senior stakeholders to understand workforce and succession plans, delivering to the gaps and needs.
- SME Delivery:
- Build relationships with stakeholders, understand hiring requirements, and proactively source candidates.
- Manage the full end-to-end recruitment process, filling roles directly and creating strong pipelines and succession plans for future hires.
- Collaborate with the local P&C team as well as the global P&C & TA teams to improve and innovate the recruitment process and experience for both customers and hiring managers.
- Strategic Partnership:
- Provide regular updates to business stakeholders on the state of affairs, insights, and recommendations for success.
- Understand market dynamics and build solid pipelines and market knowledge.
- Develop a deep understanding of functional requirements across the business and ensure solid candidate pipelines and succession plans are in place.
- Work with the local Mauritian team to build a strategy to increase brand awareness and position the company as an employer of choice.
- TA Innovation:
- Support and execute wider TA projects to improve and innovate the function and business.
- Align seamless end-to-end processes across the group.
- Develop and implement a robust induction and onboarding plan for new starters.
- Enhance the brand sentiment within the local market, building a strategy with support from the P&C team to position Rank as an employer of choice within Mauritius
Qualifications
- Develop sourcing and attraction plans to ensure a healthy pipeline of quality candidates for current and future requirements
- Build relationships with key stakeholders to become a TA SME for their areas
- Manage hiring managers' expectations to ensure effective fulfillment of vacancies, balancing direct sourcing targets
- Lead various projects across the function and globe to align ways of working, streamline processes, and ensure a best-in-class customer experience
- Build and roll out insights platforms to help the business understand specific TA metrics
- Conduct regular meetings with senior stakeholders to understand current and future talent plans, including succession and workforce planning
- Innovate new and effective ways to meet hiring needs including improving brand awareness in the local market
- Manage candidate applications, ensuring a fair and supportive selection process
- Handle recruitment activities, including posting roles, CV sifting, phone screening, interview scheduling, shortlisting, hiring manager briefings, facilitating hiring decisions, negotiating salaries and start dates, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience
- Maintain the recruitment system with high data integrity
- Promote diversity and inclusion in the recruitment process and educate hiring managers on its importance
- Support the team and collaborate to solve hiring challenges
