Job Description
As the Head of Marketing Planning, you will be responsible for owning the planning and execution of our customer facing propositions across our full portfolio of brands. You will also be responsible for owning and communicating customer feedback across the business ensuring that the customer is always at the centre of everything we do. This is an exciting opportunity to engage with senior stakeholders and C-level and Director level ensuring that customer pain points remain at the top of our agenda, whilst also ensuring we maximise our profitability through clear customer messaging and best in class execution of Marketing plans.
- Responsible for the management of the marketing planning process ensuring that our customers fully understand the value we are delivering to them through clear focussed messaging
- Chair and manage the monthly customer council and quarterly executive customer council, dealing with C-Level and Directors to become the ‘voice of the customer’ across the Rank Interactive business
- Manage the communications and execution of marketing plans across marketing, commercial and operations ensuring timely delivery of all aspects of the marketing planning process to ensure promotions across brands are delivered in a timely manner
- A key member of the Marketing management team, reporting into the Marketing Director and working closely with the brand, CRM and acquisition teams
- Liaison with Product functions to ensure we manage product launches across each brand effectively, managing the strategy and execution for new customer offerings
- Liasing with Research, Data and CS teams to ensure a customer dashboard that delivers clarity on customer pain points to all aspects of the business
- Responsible for the relationship with our creative, media and experiential agencies, ensure brand & reputation is protected in all communications
- Participate in steering groups of keys (and relevant) product initiatives to ensure that IMP lens is always part of the consideration and planning process
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in campaign marketing and planning in consumer facing multi-channel regulated sectors working across retail and digital commercially focussed businesses
- Proven track record in delivering against key milestones and managing launch processes
- The ability to plan, develop, create and execute brilliant consumer experiences as part of a seamless customer acquisition, brand confidence and conversion strategy
- Effective communicator and operator at upper management levels, with a proven capability in engaging and influencing at senior management and contributing to company strategy
- Excellent influencing skills to ensure positive and effective working relationships with shared service teams and colleagues in other geographies
- Track record in establishing, leading and developing small teams
- Ability to effectively lead and manage change in a matrix environment
- Capable of working under pressure and able to set and achieve high standards; single minded in the pursuit of goals
- Resilient to a tee with a restless attitude and strong work ethic, demonstrating a visible leadership style that motivates those around you
- Self-confident, with the ability to contribute at senior level; but with low ‘ego’ and so does not take self too seriously
